The first public meeting of the campaign took place in St Anne's Primary School in 2018 following a number of high profile anti-Catholic and anti-Irish hate crimes. Over 150 people agreed that an advocacy group for our community was needed to challenge discrimination and inequality and the meeting decided to set up the campaign and elected an interim committee. Due to the pandemic all subsequent meetings have been online and the original committee was confirmed in an online meeting in 2021. However, anyone who wishes to become more involved in the committee should get in touch with us by email or put themselves forward at a supporters' meeting.
